What compounding means
Compounding is the preparation of a customized medication by a licensed pharmacist for an individual patient pursuant to a valid prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, efficacy, or manufacturing quality.
Licensing & accreditation
CompoundRx works with pharmacies licensed in good standing by their state boards of pharmacy and licensed to ship to the states we serve. Where applicable, partner pharmacies hold accreditation (e.g. PCAB) and operate as 503A compounding pharmacies. Pharmacy identity, license number, and state of licensure for your specific order are available on request.
Quality
Partner pharmacies follow USP compounding standards. Third-party testing / certificates of analysis are provided where available. Report any adverse event or quality concern to hello@compoundrx.co — see our contact page for the adverse-event process.
